Um edifício, dois corpos, duas funções, duas opções plásticas.
A hierarquização do programa e consequentemente dos corpos que constituem o edifício, levou a uma plasticidade diferente nos dois volumes. O primeiro, de maior cércea, surge leve e transparente, com uma estrutura laminada que filtra a luz solar e garante a privacidade dos espaços.
O segundo fecha a praça a sul e ganha horizontalidade através do uso de grandes envidraçados que se “estendem” no alçado. Com uma linguagem menos éterea, surge da sucessão de vários planos que o diluem na envolvente.
A building, two bodies, two functions, two plastic options.
The programme hierarchy and consequently the hierarchy of the bodies that make the building, led to a different plasticity on the two volumes. The first one, with a larger cércea, emerges light and transparent, with a laminated structure which filtrates the sunlight and guarantees the privacy of the areas.
The second one closes the southern square and gains horizontality trough the use of large glazed that are extended on the slab. With a less éterea language, arises from the succession of several plans that dilute it on the environment.
