Começou-se por dar nova orientação ao altar e definir claramente o espaço do presbitério. Por fim e fruto do percurso projectual, apenas se manteve o corpo original. A este acrescentou-se uma nova construção de grande simplicidade formal e estética.
Projectar não foi mais do que fundamentar opções por passagens bíblicas.
